Chris and Candee raise some cash !!

Back at the start of the year Candee took on a challenge to run a marathon in the month of January. This was to raise awareness and to raise money for prostate Cancer UK. Not only did she complete it but also raised £695.00! in the name of our chairman John Davies who we sadly lost last year.

More recently Chris took on another challenge,

" I am determined to do a minimum of 15 000 press ups in order to raise £1000 during the month of April in memory of a dear friend that passed away from prostate cancer last year. 

This effort is as much in memory of my friend and to raise money as what it is to raise awareness. 

In addition to the 15 000 press ups I will also shave my hair and beard on the last day of April. I will do a minimum of 1000 press ups in a single day should I get to my target."

Chris actually smashed his target and completed 27848 press ups in the month of April and raised over £1500.00 !
